In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there realized an analysis of functions of technical service and there were given suggestions on introduction of the most perspective directions of development of the system of the national technical service in agrarian-industrial complex. In course of the study there were analyzed the main functions of agricultural technical services: provision with agricultural machinery; maintenance of agricultural machinery in order; provision of the efficient usage of machinery. There were analyzed the following main priorities of agricultural technical services branch of Belarus: development of the technical service system should be realized simultaneously in three main directions which make provisions for premium service of manufacturing works, technical service at a regional and district level; it is necessary to provide well-managed coordination of a united technical, technological and economic policy in the sphere of production and technical services; the function of regional and district centres of technical services should by realized by the existing mechanical repair enterprises specializing on servicing of certain brands.
