In course of the research there was establishment the optimal periodicity of aerating composts by the aerator-mixer of organic fertilizers ASK-4.5, which ensures obtaining environmentally safe organic fertilizers of high quality. The technical characteristics of ASK-4.5 were given. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in republican unitary enterprise 'Agro-plant Zhdanovichi'. In the first decade of July, 2010 there was put five storing bunkers 4-4.5 m by width, 2.0-2.2 m by height, 15 m by length. The storing bunkers were mixed and aerated with different periodicity. Preparation of composts with use of ASK-4.5 in comparison with traditionally prepared composts had following advantages: intermixing of compost mass by ASK-4.5 made it possible to obtain of a fine blocky homogeneous mix enriched by oxygen in regular intervals on all section of storing bunkers that made active biofermentation processes; aeration of compost mass provided its fast warming up to 50-60 by Celsius, that in turn promoted disinfecting and dehelminthization, destruction of pathogenic flora and loss of seed germinating ability of the weed plants containing in semi-fluid manure in considerable quantities; double aeration of compost mass promoted uniform maturing of compost mass on all section of storing bunker; double aeration of composts provided reception of high-quality technological organic fertilizer with higher content of accessible nutrition elements within one month.
