The effect of the international economic crisis on milk products in Damietta

. The study also showed that milk production from cows and buffaloes in the level of the Republic during the period from 1998 - 2007 in increased about 273.39 thousand tons annually , while it's increased in Damietta and reaches 206 tons during the same period The study also illustrated that the changeable and unsteady cost of ton of cheese in decreased about 25.9 % , 29.7 % , 19.6 % in each of white cheese , portion and cooked , cheese during the economic crisis compared with the prior period . The study showed that the fixed and stable costs of production of ton of cheese is decreased about 16.34 %, 7.65 %, 6.3 % in each of cooked cheese, white cheese and portion cheese during the economic crisis in comparison with the preceding period.The study showed also the effects of economic crisis on the indicator of qualification of economic performance that is represented in net earning of a ton of cheese and the profit of cheese that's expended Wherever this study explained that the standard of net earnings of the production of a ton of white cheese is decreased in the rate of 37.9 %, while the net earning of the production of a ton of portion and cooked cheese is increased in the rate of 14.1 % and 34.6 % during the economic crisis compared with the previous period. As the profit of white cheese that's spended is decreased and reached 14.2, while it is increased in portion and cooked cheese and reached 57.1 % and 66.7 % and this is during the economic crisis compaired with the period before it. Recommendations of the studies Training the workers in the field of milk industrialization and production in order to increase their technical competence and performance . Decreasing the expenditures of advertisement in addition , reviewing the tax system of milk industries and production to decrease the costs and local charges - Creating interaction and relationship Cooperation between factories that industrizes milk and research centers . The accuracy and strictness in sanitary supervision and control and quality standards in order not to go too far in using the cheap alternatives such as ( powder milk) instead of natural milk
