Eucalyptus camaldulensis is one of the most adaptable and suitable tree species in view point of wood and other productions in khouzestan province. The aim of this study was to determine the most suitable cutting tools, stump heights and sprouts management in Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehn. Plantations. This study was carried out at two different research station along river banks of khouzestan province located in Dezul and Shushtar cities, on Eucalyptus camaldulensis plantations (l0 years old). The research was conducted in 2002 under statistical method of split-split plots and fully Randomized Complete Blocks Design, with three replicates. The main treatments consisted of two level of cutting tools (axe and chainsaw), and the secondary treatments consisted of two heights of stump (15 and 30 cm.), and third treatments consisted of two sprouts management methods (shoot reduction and without reduction). Evaluations have been done on 80 trees of Eucalyptus in spacing at 3×3 meter in each site. After five years, the data were analyzed and Duncan test was done for the data obtained. The results were as follow: The effects of cutting tools on number of sprouts in all stumps and cutting tools and cutting heights on wood yield in the two sites of study were significant. The sprouts also appeared in all the treatments at the same period of time. Chain saw and low stump height (15cm.) increased wood yield.Sprouts management affected wood yield, height growth, diameter and foliage products , significantly. Sprouts reduction increased wood yield and diameter growth ,but unreduced sprouts treatment increased height growth and foliage products. However, as a conclusion it would be proposed that to leave two shoots on each stump, using chain saw and low stump height in Eucalyptus coppice method.
