Study on agronomic characteristics and grain yield of barley genotypes in international yield trials in warm and semi-warm dryland areas.ý

This study was conducted by 1536 international and national barley genotypes using 7 experiments at Ghachsaran, Moghan, Gonbad and Khorramabad stations. During growth session, data was collected from some important morpho- physiological traits and all of genotypes were compared with checks and barley lines which have possis good agronomic characters in comparing with check or checks mean were select for the moer study in the next year. Based on results from IBYT-LRA-M trials selected only 2 line (lines 5 and 10), from ISEBON 6 lines, from IBON-LRA-C after considering field information were selected 11 lines, from IBON-LRA-M were selected only 3 lines, and form Iranian nurseries which have been slected by Iranian researchers in the education oppuetinuty were selected 55 lines that grain theirs yield were orderd from 400 kgha-1 for line No. 11 . Bulbul/3/Excelle//CWB117-77-9-7/Sls ICB04-1566-OAP-3AP-OAP with 88.1% yield decline and line No. 463 with same yield and with pedigree Hml/3/moroc9-75//h.spont41-5/tadmor ICB01-0653-OAP-26AP-4AP-OAP and 86.8% yield decline relation to checks to 5750 kgha-1 for line No 250 with pedigree Nadawa/rhn-03/3/lignee527/rihane//arar ICB03-0534-OAP-23AP-OAP and 42.9% yield increment. From national nurseries were selected 26 lines which thiers grain yield have been shown a rang from 410 kgha-1 for line No. 106 and pedigree F2.Comp.81DM-1138 and 83.1% yield losing with checks to 6940 kgha-1 for the line No. 297 and pedigree F2.Comp.81DM-1443 and 41.6% increment to checks. Finally IBON-MRA after analysis of field information and grain yield were selected 14 lines so that their grain yield were sorted from 220 kgha-1 for the line No. 33 and pedigree ER/Apm and 95.3% decline yield to 5780 kgha-1 for check( new barley cultivar- Line No. 6 ).
