Evaluation of barley varieties in on-farm trial

On farm trial is considered as one way of information flow behveenresearchers, extension and farmers. In the present study 4 advanced barley lines along with 2 checks (Sararood -1 and Local variety) was evaluated in farmers' field in 3 locations, in Kermanshah province. The genotypes were compared in a RCBD design with 3 replications. Based on the , results from analysis of variance the line GWB22-6-13IICB-102893 performed better than the other lines and the checks. Combined analysis of rhe results indicated no significant difference among the genotypes, however, the overall performance of the line GWB22-6-13ACB-102893 was better than the others.
