Study of adaptability and yield potential of advanced rapeseed varieties received from inter national institutes in cold and mild cold regions
2001
Yazdan Dost Hamedani, Mohammad
This experiment was conducted in order to study of adaptability and' yield comparison of winter type rapeseed varieties in cold and mild cold regions, in Agricultural Research Center of Hamedan in 2000-2001. Twenty double low rapeseed varieties (including SLM046 as check) were compaired ina Randomized Complete Block Design with four replications. During the growth season, some improtant traits such as length of flowering and growth duration, plant height and yield components and in harvest time, seed yield and seed oil content were measured. PRC-702, Ryder and Ebonite were-the highest seed yield varieties and there was significant difference between them with check. RPC-702 and Regent * Cobra were the early mature genotypes. , Regent * Cobra had the highest oil content.
