In order to prepare standard tables of chemical composition of feedstuffs in Iran, this research was carried out on Sugar, beet, leaves with top, dried sugar beet pulp and , Molasses in Kermanshah province.In order to determine t_heir chemical composition and gross energy, 206 vilages were selected according to "The Probability Stratified Random Sampling Method." The samples of 1375(1996) were determined based on standard deviation and %5 error of mean of crude protein content in samples of 1374(1995).In this way, the samples of 1376(1997)were determined based on samples of 1375(1996)also. The collection of samples were connected in each village, on the average 3 farmers were tacken chosen incidentally an then the samples were taken from their store and two Sugar works in province. Ultimately 103 samples(67 samples of beet, leaves with tops, 18 pulp and 18 molasses samplesjwere taken for chemical analysis" include crude protein, crude fibre, ether extract, ash, gross energy, N.F.E, macro elements(Ca, P, Na, K & Mg) and micro elements (Fe, Mn, Cu & Zn). The mean,' standard deviation, range and coefficiemt of variation (C.V) of nutrients in each of feedstuffs were calculated. The average crude protein content of Sugar beet, leaves with tops, Dried sugar beet pulp & Molasses were 15.34, 10.26 & 12.23 prccent respectively. The averag crude fibre content of beet top and pulp were 12.84 and 18.68 precent respectively. The average Calcium. Phosphorous, Sodium and Potassium contents of beet top were 1.78,0.21, 1.94 & 3.81 percent and for beet pulp were 1.11, 0.08, O.73 & 1.12 precent and for Molasses were 1.32, 0.02, 1.22 & 3.25 precent respctively. The average content of Iron for beet top, pulp and Molasses were 1900.46, 419.33 & 1:42.66%and the average content of COpper were 10.64,8.52 & 5.32 PPM/DM respectively.
