Evaluation of elite bread wheat lines in farmer's fields of moderate climate of Kermanshah province (On farm)

In order to find desirable bread wheat lines for moderate region of Kermanshah province and releasing new cultivars, an on-farm study was conducted in farmer fields during 2008- 2009. Five improved lines plus Bahar, Marvdasht and Pishtaz cultivars (as checks) were investigated using a complete randomized block design with three replications. Plots were planted by hand at 400 seed/m. density. According to data analysis results, M-85-7 and M- 85-16 lines produced highest yield and could be considered as candidate for more evaluation in demonstrational trials during 2009-2010 cropping period.
