potato clones developed from crossing of potato cultivars and were selected from 80 clone in preliminary evaluation experiments, were studied in comparision with 4 cultivars(Marfona, Sante, Borrene and Agria) in Karaj and Ardabil during this research in two years 2007 and 2009. Experiment were done according to RCBD design. During the growth of potato clones in the field and after harvesting many Agronomical characters such as plant hight, main stems, number and weight of tuber per plant, total yield, salable yield, percent of dry matter and Morphological character like color of skin and flesh, tuber form , eye depth and amount of changes in flesh color were determined. The result of combined analysis of variance in each regions showed that there were significant difference between clones in some character like total yield, salable yield, number and weight of tuber per plant, percent of dry matter and after two years of experiment, 19 clones in Ardabil and 18 clones in Karaj that had high yield and suitable agronomial and morphological character, were selected and were introduced to advanced experiment.
