The objective of these feeding trials is to find out the effect of adding various combinations of rice-polishings and yellow corn in the rations of chickens during the starting growth periods. For this purpose, using the Completely Randomized Design, 48 Enya Red female chickens of one week old were devided into 8 groups of 6 chickens and treated with different combinations of rice polishing and yellow corn. The experiment was conducted for a period of 8 weeks. Data on body weight gain were collected weekly and finally analyzed using the Analysis of Variance method. The result showed that the difference in body weight gain among the different groups was not significant (P>0.05). However, the difference in feed consumption as well as in economic efficiency was highly significant (P<0.01).
