PI-3 and IBR sera and vaccines were prepared and used for prophylactic measures in calves. The preparations were more efficient than those used in routine procedures, but did not prevent losses. To obtain effective protection against respiratory diseases in calves specific prophylaxis should be associated with the improvement of environmental, management and nutritional conditions.
