A directory for developers and users of nutrient database systems summarizes the responses of database developers to a standardized questionnaire, including the summary characteristics and availability of the each database system reported. Information is included on the system name, contact person, number of foods covered, number of nutrients per food, program languages, and computer compatability. An index organized by nutrients and including ancillary information concerning the reported databases also is included. USDA nutrient data sets are not included in this directory.
