Reviews the literature on dry seasom forage and feed supplementation rations for goats, sheep and cattle. The main supplementation ingredients include wheat bran, maize, dried brewers, spent grain, corn cobs, dried cassava peels, molasses, rice straw and urea which are dependable judging from the weight gain of the sheep. The best combination for sheep is maize, cocoa husk and wheat bran. For goats, the best combination, on the basis of weight, is poultry manure, grass straw, wheat bran, maize, and corn cobs. Cattle performed poorly on sugar-cane bagasse based rations with low feed coneversion efficiency.
