In the soil under rice, a significant decline of boron and manganese content and a lesser one of zinc, cobalt, molibdenum, and copper in the arable layer and a trend towards the accumulation of boron, manganese, and cobalt in the subsurface layer have been found, the revealed regularity being most clear under rice monoculture.
