Uticaj herbicida na mikrobiolosku aktivnost u zemljistu pod usevom kukuruza.

For the investigation, the following herbicides were used: Atrazine 2 l/ha, Atrazine 3 l/ha, Alachlor 4 l/ha, Alachlor 5 l/ha. The soil was sampled three times during the growing period of maize. The effect of studied herbicides depended on herbicide and its dose, microorganism species and the period of the herbicide action. The studied herbicides reduced the total number of bacteria, number of ammonifiers, azotobacters and dehydrogenase activity and increased the number of fungi and actinomycetes. Alachlor had higher average inhibitory effect than Atrazine. Incresed herbicide quantity increased its inhibitory effect which was best exhibited at the beginning of the growing period.
