A study on marketing data system of poultry products.

A practical marketing data system was designed using a BASIC-ISAM language. The data system contains only data base management system. All input, output, and retrieval procedures were done on personal computer by a terminal menu driven method in Korean term. File system consisted of a key, map, and data file using an ISAM file in FABS. Price data of poultry products of last 10 years were input during initial input programming step. Retrieval time was less 3 second on 10MHz clock speed. The data system could replace manual collection and distribution procedures of hen and egg price in market and office.
