Speciile de plante din familia Gramineae in Delta Dunarii si intrebuintarile lor traditionale.
1994
Stoian O.
The flora of Danube Delta is a typical indicative one, consisting of well-adapted species. According to humidity and type of soil, these species can be grouped as follows: I) Hydrophile (aquatic) plants; II) Hydrophile plants; III) Mezophile Mezohygrophile plants (met on the saltings, i.e. low salted sands) or Halophile supporting plants; IV) Halophile obliged plants (met on marine soils); V) Psamophile plants (met on marine sand dunes). These plants can be used in medicine (genera Agropyron and Cynodon), in ornamentation (genera Arundo, Coix, Lolium, Panicum and Typhoides), as food or for stock farms (the most important species). Some species of Gramineae can have other uses, too. It is necessary to reconsider an unpolluting cultivation and to complete the classification of flora, in order to evaluate the meadow potential.
