Proucavanje heterozisa i nasljednosti vaznijih komponenata prinosa i kvaliteta duhana (Nicotiana tabacum) u F1 i F2 generaciji.

Beljo J.
Certain tobacco material in the generations F1, F2, B1 and B2 served for examinig the hereditary character of several qualities. There were significant differences among the varieties and hybrids for all the examined features. In F1 earlier blossoming proved to be a dominant feature as well as larger nicotine contents, while the inherited number of leaves, in comparison with a parent having fewer leaves, proved to be a partially dominant feature as well as the dry leaf yield, in comparison with a better parent. It was also observed that the increased stem height had a strong heterotic effect. Transgression of all features examined in F2 was observed. Genetic variations constituted the majority of total variations, whereas the additive component in all hybrids was larger than the dominant one. The average heritability was relatively high. With almost all of the examined features there occured an interaction of double genes, whereas parameters (h) and (l) had the opposite signs.
