Etoxazol is an acaricide for grapevines and trees. Etoxazol is an acaricide active ingredient produced by Sumitomo Chemical and which has just been registered in France. It has been used elsewhere for several years, especially in Asia. Its highly original mode of action and its membership of the new oxazolin family of chemicals make etoxazol an attractive alternative for the control of harmful mites. Etoxazol is marketed by Philagro France under the name of Borneo.
