Study on fluoride concentration in southern river basins of variable five type watershed classification, in 25 subwatersheds was covered Changwat Trang, Pattalung, Satool and Songkla. Average values of fluoride in 1 to 5 watershed classes were 0.217, 0.288, 0.234, 0.260 and 0.237 mg/l respectively and were not exceeding the standard of drinking water. The comparison of fluoride concentration in each watershed classes showed no statistical difference. Fluoride concentration in the time period was maximum in wet period (November to January) and decreased in wet period (July to September) and summer period (March to May) respectively. Fluoride concentration in different watersheds was maximum in southern basins and decreased in Ping-Wang basins, Yom-Nan basins, Chi basins respectively. Since the amount of fluoride content in the water of some subwatersheds did not differ from the standard value, so that consumption this water should be avoided, especially during November. In considerable amounts fluoride concentration cannot be used as criteria for watershed classification.
