Research was made on six sample surfaces in 3 different geographical areas. The aim was to study the dynamics of drying evolution on silver fir and common spruce during 1990-1991. The authors made observations regarding the evolution of trees prevailing drying from second degree at third degree of drying. The morphostructural modifications determined by abiotic factors refer to: the alburnum and heartwood ratio, the latewood and early wood ratio, the compression wood proportion, growth anomalies. These morphostructural modifications depend in intensity on secondary biotic factors attack (insects and fungus) and mistletoe.
