This paper decsribes the IHE experiences in introducing performance oriented management in the Triffa scheme of the Moulouya Basin in Morocco during the period 1993-1997. These activities are carried out in the framework of the IIMI-IHE-ILRI collaborative Research Program on Irrigation Performance (RPIP). The programme is based on the propositions and hypotheses developed under an earlier programme: Performance Assessment Diagnosis (Murray-Rust and Snellen 1993).
