The two-year study (1995-1996) that included hybrids used for large-scale production as well as a number of experimental ones from the network of large-plot trials in the Vojvodina Province (Yugoslavia) has produced significant results. It has shown that the hybrids that are currently used in large-scale production have very good agronomically important traits. Several new experimental hybrids are characterized by a high seed oil content and good performance regarding other agronomic traits.
