Adoption behavior was singly and positively influenced by communal irrigation, drainage, amortizing land ownership and extension agents as communication channel while concomittant factors that hasten adoption include market price, membership in farmer only and amortizing land ownership. Constraints to adoption behavior were singly influenced by far distance of farm from home, while concomittantly hindered by big farm size and presence of off-farm income. Innovativeness on the other hand was singly promoted by communal irrigation, amortizing land ownership, extension and commercial agents as communication channel while concomittantly promoted by positive market price. Innovativeness was singly constrained by distant farms from home and family labor while concomittantly hindered by big farms and presence of off-farm income.
