The quality of water and aquatic products as well as nutrients of organic manures applied for fish ponds fed only with chicken manure and digested liquid slurry respectively were extensively analyzed. The results showed that organic manure (pig dung) under anaerobic fermentation used as fertilizer for fish culture had better effect in many respects than that of undigested manure. It not only improved the water quality of fish ponds, raised the yield and quality of aquatic products but also increased the conversion rate of feed. It also showed that fish culture with digested slurry had remarkable benefits in ecological, economic and social aspects, it proved as an effective way of using organic manure as fodder under anaerobic fermentation.
