A field trial was carried out to identify the important micronutrient(s) and to determine the optimum level(s) of application for pineapple cv. Mauritius Only Cu was observed to have significant effect on the plant height of pineapple cv. Mauritius No significant effect of Cu was observed on leaf number and mean fruit weight. There was no significant difference in the plant height when Cu was applied at various levels (5, 10, 15 kg/ha). Thus, Cu at 5 kg/ha would be sufficient to overcome Cu deficiency symptoms in the field. No significant effect of B, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn was observed on plant performance and yield of pineapple cv. Mauritius.
