Row spacing exerted a slight influence on the development and morphology of investigated plant but quantitative values of the majority of morphological features decreased as the number of sown plants grew. The highest average yields were obtained for three consecutive years from Nadwislanski variety, and lower ones from Dino and Tibo. The sowing rate of 55 seeds per 1 sq. m proved to be satisfactory for conventional varieties.
