Tomato plants variety Sarky, grown in a greenhouse at 3,33 plants.m-2 of density. The plants were sampled, fractionated (leaves, stems, petioles and fruits), dried and weighed for dried matter and leaf area index determination and analyzed for macroelements content every 21 days during 126/days after transplanting. The specific nutrient accumulation (mg.g-1.day-1) occurred in the first stage of growth (0-21 days) and the highest nutrient uptake (kg.Ha-1) rate was during 63-84 days after transplanting, a period when plant growth was considerable. By 126 days after transplanting, the plant has absorbed the following amount of nutrient in Kg/Ha: 410,69 N, -- 120,25 P205. 674,86 K20, 334,73 Ca, 120,35 Mg, and 40,16 Na. The commercial production was of 16,68 TM/Ha at the same time. Leaf efficiency as net assimilation rate growth parameters was measured.
