The general ecological situation in Ukraine requires detailed study of the anthropogenic factors influencing the environment. Radioecology of vegetative biogeocenosis indicates that absorption of radionuclides depends on the physical and chemical properties of the soils, biological features of plants. Methods of reduction of radionuclide accumulation by plants are provided by application of fertilizers, growing of definite crop species.
