The investigations carried out at the Viticultural Research Station in Odobesti, Vrancea district in 1976 - 1983 regarding the 11, r2-r4 quality relation of crude distillates led to the explanation of the interdependence of the esters content, enanthic and superior alcohols. Additional 7 quality relations (R1, R5 - R10) have been also studied. These relations define the qualitative values of the methyl alcohol, of the aldehydes, of the volatile acids, of esters and superior alcohols within wine distillates coming from the vine-growing area in Odobesti.
