A model farm layout for a 2 hectare holding is given and aspects of farmstead planning, power and machinery, irrigation systems, other farm building, and roads are outlined. Specialized designs for aquaculture engineering, hydroponics, a solar power photovoltaic device and a solar drier are briefly discussed.
