The nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content of the leaves of grapes of the Vranec variety over 6 stocks and over its own roots was investigated from 1974 to 1976 in the area around Titograd (Montenegro, Yugoslavia). The following was concluded: The nitrogen content in the leaves of plants of the examined variety depends notably on the stock only at the beginning of blossoming. The grafted vine and the vine over the "Du lot" and "P-1103" stocks have a higher phosphorus content in the leaf than those over the stocks "5BB" and "R-99". The Vranec variety plants over their own roots contain the most phosphorus in the leaves. The potassium content in the leaves is the most dependent on the stock.
