Scientific approaches to the technology of machine milking of cows are elucidated. The data on the problem of one-regime operation of milking equipment are given. It is found out that during milking in front quaters as well as in back ones of cow's mammary glands the same phases of milk-giving manifest themselves sequentially. However in front quaters of cow's udder under lesser milk content the periods of activation and those of decrease in activity of milk arrival are considerably longer than in back quaters, which contain large quantity of milk. At the same time in back quaters of cow's mammary glands the period of a milk arrival peak is by 14,7 % longer than this index for front ones. Inadequacy of coming of milk-removal phases causes front quaters of udder are subjected to idle effect of a milking machine up to three times that may results in traumatizing cow's udder as a whole.
