In this paper the quality of Accaribo clay is researched for use for traditional rough-ceramic purposes. This was done through chemical, physical and technological research. In addition to this, research was also done to discover the presence of heavy minerals harmful for the ceramics. The following topics are successively discussed; -the theory relevant to the topics of clay and ceramics; -the methodology used for the experiments and the results and conclusions. The end results of the experiments are worked out in the paper while the other results can be found in the appendix.
