The higher fattening performance and carcass quality in the crosses Bhf x cb and cb pure breed bulls was stated. No statistically significant differences in beef quality (water content, fat content, meat pH1, meat pH24, water holding capacity, meat palatability, Warner-Bratzler tenderness) were observed. The higher beef performance of Bhf x cb crossbred and cb pure breed bulls than that of Ahf x cb crossbred bulls has been concluded.
