Small farm transport in Republic of Serbia is mostly done by tractor with one or two axel trailers, and in smaller amount with single axel tractors coupled with small payload trailers (motomowers) or crates mounted at the back lifting mechanism of tractor. This paper presents data, on type and amount of agricultural transport means, acquired by interviewing 295 farm owners with 5 to 30 ha farms. It was founded that existing transportation means do not satisfy in total needs of small farms. Because of this it is suggested that one light agricultural vehicle be developed, which would, beside transportation needs, satisfy other demands of small farm owners.
