The effect of irrigation and soil type on herbe yield and essential oil content of Pannonian thyme was examined. The experiment was set up according to the method completely randomized block design in 2010 and 2011 in Pančevo and Starčevo (Serbia). The highest yield herbe and essential oil content was recorded in 2011 in terms of irrigation on soil type chernozem.
