Evaluation of the influence of plant density on yield and soybean seed chemical composition, experiment were conduct with six soybean varieties, four replications and six plant density at experimental fields of Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops (Serbia). Optimal plat density was 400000 to 500000 plant per ha, depending on maturity group. Soybean varieties Galina, Valjevka and Sava had the highest oil content and the lowest protein content at maximal plant density, while NS Maximus and Trijumf had the lowest oil content and the highest protein content in dense crop.
