Mortality of some representative fauna vertebrata of the road reserve Zasavica [Serbia] | Mortalitet nekih predstavnika faune vertebrata na putevima rezervata Zasavica [Srbija]

Mortality of some representative fauna of vertebrates (Amphibia, Reptilia, Aves and Mammalia) was observed in the period 1997-2009 years, the asphalt and dirt roads in and around the reserve. A total of 1937 individuals were killed fauna representative vertebrates, of which 85 species determined with a total of 1259 injured individuals. On the roads up and around Zasavica total of 1937 individuals were killed of which 394 are mammals, 375 birds, 263 reptiles and 905 amphibians. From a total of 1937 individuals determined to 170 individuals or 43.1% of mammals, 239 or 63% of birds, 263 or 13.5% of reptiles and 735 specimens or 81.2% of amphibians. Total killed 26 species of mammals, 40 species of birds and 10 species of reptiles and amphibians. If we look at the structure of the suffering of these groups appear: Mammalia: Insectivore 3 species or 11.5% from 21 specimens, 12 species of Rodentia, or 46.1% from 113 individuals, Lagomorpha a species or 3.8%, with 6 animals, 9 species of Carnivora or 34.6% from 23 individuals and Chiroptera from 5 individuals or 2.9%. The largest number of suffering was found in: Apodemus flavicolis with a total of 24 individuals and Mus musculus with a total of 20 individuals. On this axis separates the plight semiakvatic species Lutra lutra (2005) and Castor fiber (2004) immediately after the reintroduction. Aves: Galliformes, Falconiformes and Strigiformes by 4 species, Charadri iformes by 5 species, Columbiformes by 3 types; Anseri formes and Coraciiformes the two species, Pelecaniformes, Piciformes and Ciconiformes by one species and Passeriformes present with 13 species. On the asphalt road a total of 45 species of birds were killed with 58 individuals and 6 species on earth roads. The largest number suffering has been reported in iron Columba liva domestica with a total of 71 individuals which is 29.7% of total determined individuals and Pica pica with a total of 61 casualties. Reptilia: Testudines one species with a total of four individuals, Saurida 4 species with 29 individuals and Serpentes 5 species with 82 individuals. The largest number suffering has been reported in species Elaphe longissimus with a total of 41 or 50% in 2002. year and in Natrix natrix with 15 injured individuals 18.2%. Amphibia: 3 types with a total of six individuals were Caudata and 7 species with 729 individuals Anura. The largest number suffering was with the type of Rana esc. complex with total of 425 units or 58.2%, and the Rana dalmatina with a total of 178 individuals killed or 24.4%.
