The question of the degradable bio-oils, which is used in the hydraulic systems of municipal vehicles, attains the bigger meaning, especially in same problems, which they relate with questions about the environment. The hydraulic system of the municipal vehicle assigns a fluid drive of an individual components at hydraulic systems, which they are used by manipulate with a municipal waste at the environment. There is a creating problem, especially next to a flow of hydraulic system, when this liquid leaks to the environment. There are two causes of the problem. The first one is wear of hydraulic elements and the second one is in a gradual leakage to environment with their consequences. This contribution is directed on examination of possibility for application of the degradable bio-oil PFL ESSO, which was used in the hydraulic system of municipal vehicle BOBR ROTT15.5. This bio-oil was considered from his viscosity, water content or content of other pollutants. The obtained results were acquired during of operation, when the vehicle was in the fieldwork. It was realized in whole reasons, where a value of work pressure in hydraulic system was 12 MPa. The examination of hydrostatic gear pump power was realized indirectly, which it was based on lifting and dropping of weight about power 12 360 N. It was defined in an extent of piston's distance of hydraulic direct hydro motor.
