anglais. In this research, three pumps that have different diameters (4, 5 ,6) were tested in 6 different number of stages in the optimum rpm. Effect of variation of stage number on pump efficiency was researched. According to the results of the research, the increase on the stage number increased the overall efficiency of pumps. The increase in the overall efficiency is based on the fact that the increase in mechanic power, spent by pump, is less than the increase in the values of hydraulic power, produced by pump.

Bu çalışmada, üç değişik anma çapındaki (4, 5 ve 6) düşey milli derin kuyu pompası, optimum devirde ve 6 farklı kademe sayısında denenmiş ve kademe sayısının pompa verimi ve verim bileşenlerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, kademe sayısının artışı, pompa genel verimini yükseltmiştir. Verimin artması, kademe sayısı artışına bağlı olarak pompanın yuttuğu güç değerlerinin artış oranının, pompanın ürettiği debi ve basınç değerlerinin artış oranından daha küçük olmasına bağlanmıştır.
