Apples appear in traditional Bulgarian menu and play an important role in ensuring a rational and healthy diet. Fruit quality without residual chemicals can be produced only by using ecological approaches. In this regard, an experiment is conducted to implement environmental control economically important pests of apple. The aim is to assess the economic aspects of this ecological approach in comparison with the conventional approach. It was found that anti-environmental insecticides was 30% to 47% cheaper than conventional. Optimizing the cost of protection leads to a reduction in the absolute amount required under growing and in parallel to produce fruit with higher quality.
