The evolution of the scarcity of water resources in the region is promoting changes in production and management of water supply. The present study had as objective to evaluate the hydraulic performance of a system of irrigated conditions using two types of emitters installed with the papaya crop in the irrigated perimeter of Araras Norte, Varjota - CE. Tests were conducted to determine the variation of pressure and flow, irrigation efficiency and uniformity coefficient, using different methodologies. Data analysis revealed high levels of variation and pressure on the side lines and derivation. In all methodologies used values of uniformity of irrigation are best used when only one emitter, demonstrating the unavailability of using two types of emitters in the same area irrigated.
