In the conditions of the north-eastern part of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of studies into samples of blue lupine (narrow-leaf) (Lupinus angustifolius) and yellow lupine (Lupinus luleus) in a competitive variety test. There was made a detailed analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicators of productivity, as well as of factors which influenced their values. There were established the most valuable samples of narrow-leaf and yellow lupine, which were characterized by stable high indicators and surpassed standard samples in productivity and yield quality in competitive test. The following variety samples of blue lupine were marked for high yields and protein content were recommender for the further State Variety Testing: Mitan x Siderat 38; Biser x Metel; Vladlen x Siderat; Pershatsvet x Siderat; (Pershatsvet x B. 280-50) x B. 350 and Vladlen. The following variety samples of yellow lupine were marked for high yields and protein content were recommender for the further State Variety Testing: BSHA 365; BSHA 555; BSHA 556.
