In course of the research there were analyzed the results of decoding of the open network for space reclamation of varying resolution and identification data of ground-based observations in geographic information system (GIS). The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of a comparative analysis it was revealed that use of spectrozonal pictures were more preferably. It made it possible to distinguish decoded objects on types, and also to use images in conditional colors for allocation of borders of natural vegetation and wetland, to define the metrics of invisible objects using change of vegetation character (for the small rivers and channels); with increase in the permission of a picture the percent of correctly distinguished open channels grew and, accordingly, the volume of necessary additional manual work on decoding decreased; considering high cost of pictures of the ultrahigh permission, it was necessary to begin with use of free accessible pictures of the maximum resolution for finding-out of necessity of higher permission picture application. For a statistics set on reliability of recognition of reclamation system on space image the various permission carrying out of remote sensing data decoding on a number of the reclamation objects, which have channels of various width and depth, was necessary.
