Dos mil seiscientas setenta y cinco crías fueron utilizadas en tres lactancias para estudiar el efecto de la sustitución del maíz de la dieta para cerdas en lactancia por miel rica. Las crías no recibieron alimento seco adicional y sólo dispusieron de la leche materna para su crecimiento. Los tratamientos experimentales fueron los siguientes: Un control a base de maíz, otro donde se sustituyó el 100 % del maíz por miel rica y un tercero donde se ofreció la misma dieta de miel rica pero con consumo ad libitum. La fuente proteica utilizada en todos los casos fue la levadura torula. Los pesos de las crías al destete (kg) fueron: 6.95; 7.22 y 7.50 para los tratamientos de maíz, miel rica restringida y ad libitum respectivamente. No se encontraron diferencias entre tratamientos para la mortalidad en crías. Se sugiere el uso del sistema de miel rica restringido en sustitución del maíz para las cerdas en lactancia.
Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]anglais. Two thousand six hundred and five piglets were used in order to study the effect of corn substitution in lactating sows by high-test molasses on piglets behavior. Piglets did not receive creep feed and were weaned at 33 days of age. Treatments were: A control of corn, another one where the 100 % of corn was substituted by high-test molasses (with restricted feed intake) and the last where we used the same diet of molasses but with ad libitum feed intake. Torula yeast was the only source of protein used. Weight of piglets at weaning (kg) were: 6.95; 7.22 and 7.50 for treatments: corn, restricted and ad libitum hightest molasses respectively. No differences were found in piglets mortality. We recomended the restricted molasses sistem for lactating sows.
