The aim of this article was to evaluate the effect of four different types of soil cultivation and sowing (1: conventional tillage, 2: no tillage and direct sowing, 3: minimal tillage, 4: no tillage, mulching and direct sowing), three types of nitrogen fertilization and year on the occurrence of Fusarium head blight, stem-base diseases and take-all in winter wheat (cv. Acteur). The following crop rotation was used: winter wheat, spring barley, mustard. The results of our trials did not demonstrate an increased need for protection against Fusarium head blight, stem-base diseases and take-all in the given system. The effect of year was more pronounced than the effect of the other factors studied. However, the severity of the diseases examined was not high and did not require massive application of fungicides.
