Investigation on qualitative and quantitative characteristics of medium early advanced potato clones in spring cultivation areas and production diseases free plantlets

In order to release new potato varieties, 29 promissing clones were evaluated for two years in five locations. The experimental design was randomized complete block with 4 replications and mentioned clones were compared with three check varieties including: Agria, Marfona and Lady rosetta. Based on evaluated chracteristics there were many variations for yield, dry matter content, frying colour and qulinary quality amonge clones. The accesstion numbers of 397097-2 , 397082-10, and 397081-2 had more marketable yield and from quality view point were better or as same as related check varieties.
