This investigation was carried out for doing selection in sesame germplasm in order to determining drought stress tolerance sources and introduction of genotypes showing acceptable yield in the stress condition. Among 27 genotypes used as treatments in RCBD with three replication in Karaj, Moghan, Jiroft and Dezful for two years. Two separate experiments, normal water case and stress one, in each year were conducted. In one experiment, say control or normal condition, irrigation was based on evaporation of 100 mm in Evaporation container Class A and in the second one, say stress case, based on 240 mm . Number of capsule per plant, capsule length, plant height, 1000- seed weight, yield per hectare, and oil seed content were measured in each plot. Analysis of variance was carried out for yield , number of capsules per plants, plant height and oil percentage. The highest seed yield in normal conditions were observed from: - Genotypes named Moghan17 and Borazjan2 with 1310 and 1289 kg/ha respectively in Karaj . - Genotypes named Karaj 1 and Ultan with 1884 and 1785 kg/ha respectively in Moghan. - Genotypes named Jiroft-13 and Darab14 with 1439 and 1415 kg/ha respectively in Jiroft. - Genotypes named Yellowwhite and Panjab89 with 1691 and 1626 kg/ha respectively in Dezful. The highest seed yield in stress conditions were observed from: - Genotypes named Moghan17 and Ultan with 982 and 922 kg/ha respectively in Karaj . - Genotypes named Yekta and Nbn with 1386 and 1331 kg/ha respectively in Moghan. - Genotypes named Darab14, Ts-3 and Jiroft-13 with 1020, 986 and 967kg/ha respectively in Jiroft. - Genotypes named Darab14 and Ultan with 923 and 719 kg/ha respectively in DezfuI.
